Switching Devices on Verizon?
My iPhone broke today.
So my sister offered her husbands iPhone that he does not use anymore, but it still has a line. So I planned to transfer it to my account to replace my broken phone. But will i run into problems doing that? Will I need to go into Verizon for that or can I do it online? Will my sister have to be there? I really don't want to have trouble with this, I can upgrade in february and it is so close I'm so annoyed.
As long as he replaced the iPhone with another phone, you should have no trouble activating his phone to your line. You should be able to do it online.

When the new iPhone is activated on their number, can we then switch phones so I would have the iPhone and my original number, and they have the Nexus? Does the iPhone to android factor affect this switch.
