Switching from Droid to iPhone?
What do you think of that? Good idea? Bad?
Added (1). Going from a Droid Incredible 4G to a iPhone 4S.
Bad. To me iPhone has a lot of restrictions like you have to basically buy every thing. Even if its free it's not the full version. Android you can download movies and music for free.
It would depend on your reasons.
However, I would find this difficult myself. Going from the Droid Incredible to iPhone 4S means you are giving up
User removable battery (handy for those times when you can't be sure of when you'll be able to recharge - always nice to have an extra battery already charged; I had this during Sandy)
Expandable memory using MicroSD cards - cards mean you;re not only able to add to memory, but have greater control over moving media to and from the card since you can do that by popping the card into a PC card reader. You're not stuck going through iTunes. If the phone bricks, just remove the card. What's saved to an iPhone stays on the iPhone.
The iPhone 4S isn't a 4G/LTE phone like the Droid Incredible.
Keep your android because not as many restrictions and has much faster internet speeds
Depends on the iphone make.model and android make/model
any Android 2012 to present beats a Iphone 4s and 5… But if you talking about an old android (droid x for example) and going to an Iphone 5, then thats good… Or are you talk about a modern android and going to a old iphone, like iphone 3g
EDIT--- tehcnology wise, its a good move. Better hardware in the 4s. Software/firmware/OS wise, its the stupidist move you will ever make… Let me make a political analogy here---you been living in the USA for your entire life, free, able to make choices, dress the way you want… Now you wanna move to communist North Korea, where you are not free, you are given what you want and are told to deal with it or die, and you dress how you are told to dress… Android vs.iOS… Open vs.closed… Inclusivness vs.exlusiveness… Freedom vs.control… Jedi vs.sith… Anakin said it best if SWIII---

Go for Iphone 4s
- Which is better? IPhone or Droid? I understand that some people have had both an iPhone and a Droid and usually it's the one they are most used to… I'm thinking about getting an iPhone… What's your opinion?
