Switching to iPhone 8. Need help with this particular thing?
So I've has a prepaid iPhone 6s Plus for awhile now and I know with AT&T you can remove the SIM card and put it into another phone with at&t or if it's unlocked. Could you do that with the prepaid SIM card, cause I'm buying an unlocked iPhone 8 Plus off a friend.
As long as the SIM card fits and the phone is unlocked, it'll be fine. The iPhone 6+ and 8 take the same size SIM cards, and it doesn't matter what plan you're on. You'll be OK.
MAKE SURE that security locks, passwords, and Cloud settings are cleared, disabled, turned off before you part with a penny. Do not just ASK - in your presence have him completely turn off the phone, hand it to you, and YOU turn it on from dead and make sure you can get into everything you need to. ITunes, all included apps, etc. This will take a while. Again - BEFORE you give him ten cents. If he balks - then it is likely that the phone is lost our stolen, and most likely bricked. NO - it can't be fixed by Apple!
Doesn't matter if the SIM is prepaid or postpaid, as long as the phone is unlocked it would work.
- Why does one particular app not work on my iPhone? Specifically the intuit/QuickBooks app. All the rest work fine. It works on my wife's android. Every time I click on it, it shows a bunch of red letters, but I can't read it fast enough cause it kicks me off and goes right back to my icon screen. It's paid up to date and was just updated. Do I need to go to the Apple store?
- Why can't i access a particular website on my windows phone when you can from an iphone? I have a jokia lumia 925 on windows with Three. I can't seem to access the page https://portal.aerlingus.com. It just loads a blank screen instead of a screen with login options. I see people can access it on their iphone. I tried from a different browser using opera mini but it did the same. Any thoughts?
- Where can I get this particular iPhone case? My fiance was talking about getting this iPhone case for his iPhone 5.It has to do with superheroes from DC I think. Apparently when you buy it part of the funds go to a charity to help people in Africa. The slogan is something like "You can be a hero, too". Does this sound familiar to anyone? He was talking about it months ago, but if I ask him it'll be too obvious. It should be online somewhere, he showed me the website once. I can't remember where it is.
- Tmobile switching to iphone, what do i need to do? My Tmobile samsung galaxy s2 broke and my friend is giving me her old iphone 5. What do I need to do to get it to work with my sim card and memory etc. It's not jailbroken or anything. Do I need to do that? And do I need to notify my provider or anything?
