T-Mobile troubles! 20 chars?

I've been with T-Mobile for about a year and 10 months. So far, my experience has been satisfactory, however, I have an HTC G2. The phone worked well for a year and 5 months, then stopped charging successfully. I was issued a replacement phone, for which I had to pay $60.00, and after these last 5 months, I have the same problem, only more severe. I do NOT want to pay another $60.00, which was clearly not worth it, and I still have 2 months left on my contract. How successful would I be in maybe getting some kind of "hardship" offer to where I could freely terminate my contract if I upgraded to my desired iPhone 5? How would I go about asking for said offer?

T mobile will work with you on this. Go through channels and beseech the entry level phone person to give you a replacement at no cost. No even shipping. When that doesn't work Tell them you either want to cancel the contract or speak to RETENTION.

T-mobile no longer offers contracts as of early this year. Call their customer service, explain, then ask what your options are.

They will not waive any early cancellation fees because of a nonworking phone, however; if the phone has no physical or water damage, you do not need to pay a deductible, your insurance covers the warranty for life, meaning you can do any exchange at no cost to you.

I would recommend going to the new plan that isn't contracted and get the iPhone 5 like you want. Altogether, you'll be paying $70, and after 24 months, it goes down to $50.

Try a different charger. Any micro USB one will work.
