Tasty Icing Recipes/Tasty Cake Recipes?

I have to make an iPhone cake for a school project and I have to make my own icing for the cake. Any good recipes for icing?

Any good recipes for cake?

Ingredients:

One single 8" or 9"-inch cake layer, any flavor
2 cups frosting (enough for 2-layer cake), any flavor
2 cups flaked coconut, divided
green food coloring
dried mango slices or other material for ears
jelly beans
optional additional food colors

Preparation:

Freeze cake layer 1 hour. Slice cake layer in half. Stand cut cake layer on cut end. Cut a notch through the two pieces approximately up one-third the way from one end of the body to form the bunny head.
Frost in between the cake layer halves. Also, frost the bottom of the cake, so it won't slide around on the serving plate.
You need to choose just the right serving plate. I needed to choose a plate that not only would hold the bunny, but would fit in a cake carrier that was tall enough for the bunny ears.
Frost the entire bunny.
Using one of the notches cut from the cake layer to form a bunny tail. Add tail to bunny body and cover it in frosting. The frosting should be enough to hold the tail on the end of the bunny body.
Sprinkle entire bunny body with 1 cup of coconut. Use your fingers to lightly press the coconut into the frosting. At this point, I put my bunny cake into the refrigerator overnight. I wasn't serving it until the next day. This step is optional.
Add bunny ears. The reason my ears are orange and a little short is because I wanted to use some dried mango I already had on hand. There are other bunny ear options like dried fruit roll-ups or even using cut pink construction paper. It's your choice.
To make the eyes and nose, I used jelly beans. Black ones for the eyes and an orange one for the nose. If I was using red or pink for the ears, I would have used red or pink jelly beans instead.
To decorate the serving plate, use 1 cup of green tented coconut and sprinkle with jelly beans.
I sliced my bunny cake perpendicularly from the tail to the head.

I at all of the frosting so it was only the cake part and it was about the size of a charger base for an iPhone. Will he die? He hasn't vomited and I was wondering if he built up an immunity! Please Help! I don't want to lose him. He's a 25 pound, 7 year old, Jack Russell and bull terrier MIX
