Terrible iPhone 5 experience?
So I've had my iPhone 5 for about a year and a half now.
To sum it up.
The lock button broke just after 1 year
I have had to buy 4 charger cables from apple because they have all broken
The apps and iOS7 crash all of the time
The battery life is useless and the % jumps from around 20% to 1% without warning
The phone randomly shuts off below 40% and needs to be plugged in
Transferring music from itunes to the phone is beyond a joke taking hours on some occasions
Athe Wi-Fi doesn't connect properly anywhere
And to top it all off this is the 3rd iphone 5 apple have sent me.
Now you may think I abuse my phone but this is not the case! I'm very careful with it, I have a screen protector and a case, I completely full charge cycles continuously. There isn't a scratch or mark on the device.
Has anyone else had such a terrible experience?
Most definitely buying Android next!
Sounds like you just have a bad one, I've never had one problem with mine.
Sounds like user error to me, If you really think Android phons are built any better, I have a bridge to sell you.
Samsung all the way
You are not alone. I have 5 iPhones in a drawer all with either Home Button Failures or cracked screens.
It is one of the issues with a single button for all procedures.
Androids have one button but then have two touch sensitive areas too.
It is up to you. Build quality of all phones is not as good as it was as everything is driven by profit. Make it cheap, sell it at a massive profit.
Never had a problem with any of my iPhones and they are used all day for everything including (shock horror) making calls.
You have either not looked after it (and judging by the amount of cables you are getting through that is it as I'm still using the original cable) or had a bad phone.
Go Android next, I'm sure Apple are not going to lose sleep about it.
- Your experience with the iPhone 5's 8 megapixel Camera? I have been tinkering around for about a week with this camera and I wanted to get some feedback on what people's thoughts where in terms of the quality of the photographs. I personally think it is a major step up from the 5 megapixel camera, but yet again is it on par with most handheld digital cameras or is there room for improvement? Here are some photographs taken with the iPhone 5 http://jasonspictureblog.blogspot.com/
- Will I experience hearing loss if I go to a concert one time? Just went to a concert with my friend even though I really said I didn't want to go because of how loud it would be. Anyways, I used a app in my iphone and it was averaging about 105 decibels for 2 hours and now I'm really scared if I'll get hearing loss tommorow. Can this one time cause hearing loss or does it have to be multiple times?
- Where do I start if I Want to Make an App but have no experience whatsoever? I really have no experience but all I want to do is develop a simple iPhone app. Not a game but sort of like a comment stream to put it in short terms. I learn things pretty quickly but I'm just looking for a starting point. So feel free to share your opinion on what is the best way to approach this new skill so I can learn the best way
