Tether internet with iphone on pay and go o2?
I have an iPhone 4 and I'm on O2 with pay and go where I pay £15 a month to have texts and internet. What I want to do is to be able to tether the internet or set up a Wi-Fi hotspot using my phone. Does anyone know if it is possible to do that with O2 along with the cost of being able to tether?
You might find that tethering is not allowed on most networks, for example giffgaff which is run on the o2 network absolutely forbids it, because if it was so easy to do we would all be doing it, I tried using foxfi when I was with giffgaff but found I was using the data on giffgaff and lost a fiver on pay as you go then noticed their website forbidding tethering probably they want you to spend more money
- Which prepaid mobile network in the US allows you to tether your iPhone? I've been looking at Virgin, who offer uncapped data on month-by-month plans, but it's not clear if they allow you to tether your iPhone (AKA use it as a 'personal hotspot'). Any suggestions?
- Is it possible to tether an ipad to an iphone? I have an Iphone with unlimited data roaming, if I bought an Ipad could it be connected to the Iphone to browse the web?
- Iphone 4 won't come out of recovery mode after failed attempt of boot tether? After a failed attempt to boot tethered my ios 6 semi-tethered jailbroken iphone4, my iphone has gone into recovery mode (as i think) and won't come out. I've tried a bunch of solution to get out of dfu mode, recovery mode, and others and nothing has done anything. As my observations has found out that the phone is not completely black so i presumed its in recovery mode. Please help me out. I've tried using redsn0w 0.9.15b1 and tinyumbrella but they haven't detected it.
- If I buy and unlocked Iphone, Do I have to pay all at once or can I pay monthly? I want to buy and unlocked iphone for 549. Do I have to pay all of it right there and then when I buy it, or is there like a monthly payment thing i could do to pay it off?
