Is it possible to tether an ipad to an iphone?
I have an Iphone with unlimited data roaming, if I bought an Ipad could it be connected to the Iphone to browse the web?
Your iPhone may have this capability. Go to Settings > General >Cellular, and look for Personal Hotspot. If it's there, you can do what you want… Tap Personal Hotspot, and follow the instructions to create a Wi-Fi network that your iPad can connect to.
It's possible. Last time I checked, people HAVE been able to transmit and receive internet via the connection cable.
I'm not saying it's easy, though. Just possible.
- Which prepaid mobile network in the US allows you to tether your iPhone? I've been looking at Virgin, who offer uncapped data on month-by-month plans, but it's not clear if they allow you to tether your iPhone (AKA use it as a 'personal hotspot'). Any suggestions?
- Tether internet with iphone on pay and go o2? I have an iPhone 4 and I'm on O2 with pay and go where I pay £15 a month to have texts and internet. What I want to do is to be able to tether the internet or set up a Wi-Fi hotspot using my phone. Does anyone know if it is possible to do that with O2 along with the cost of being able to tether?
- Is it possible to tether an iPhone to a Router? I have been using my iPhone for tethering lately. I got a big data plan to use for tethering but it can only connect to a few devices and using the Wi-Fi tethering uses allot of battery. So I would like router to help with that. I did not think it would be this hard:/
- Iphone 4 won't come out of recovery mode after failed attempt of boot tether? After a failed attempt to boot tethered my ios 6 semi-tethered jailbroken iphone4, my iphone has gone into recovery mode (as i think) and won't come out. I've tried a bunch of solution to get out of dfu mode, recovery mode, and others and nothing has done anything. As my observations has found out that the phone is not completely black so i presumed its in recovery mode. Please help me out. I've tried using redsn0w 0.9.15b1 and tinyumbrella but they haven't detected it.
