Text messages not going through from iPhone 5c to other phones with green bubbles?

I've tried many times to text some of my certain friends but when I do, it always says "sent as a text message" with a green bubble as the messages' background but with a few of my other certain friends, it says "sent as iMessage". My friends who have "sent as a text message" can't see my message nor can I see their's. One of my certain friends I can't text to has an android samsung s3 but I can call her. Do you know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

The blue bubble goes between idevices. Its for people who have Apples. Green is for people who have "other phones". I have not a clue why you wouldn't be able to SEE the text once it goes through. Are you sure there isn't an error, like an exclamation point, next to the text. Is it all people without iphones or only this one? Maybe its a problem with her phone, like she has texting blocked because of a lack of a plan. Then she wouldn't be able to send or receive.

  • Why do iPhone messages come up as picture messages on other phones? When my friend sends me texts, she has an iphone, they come up as picture messages and i can't revieve them on my phone because my plan doesn't cover picture messages. Can she change the settings so it won't come up as a picture?

I get that the blue messages are imessage and green are sms but are all of them going through eventually? so far all of them have been responded to except my last message and i don't know if they got it or not but i don't want to be annoying by like sending it again or a question mark or something, which is why i'm asking here
