Text messages not received after being abroad (iPhone)?
I was in Australia for three months and brought my Verizon iPhone 4 with me, although it did not work at all for calls/texts I used it as an ipod and camera. I was excited when I landed in the US to turn off airplane mode and receive a barrage of texts/voicemails but absolutely none came through. I know some where sent because people facebooked me asking why I wasn't replying. Any way I can find these text messages or are they lost for ever?
3 months? Might be lost irretrievably in verizon's systems, over written by something else. I know that after a month, I got 5 minutes of overlapping beeps with my GS4 on ATT, but I don't know about verizon. You got nothing? Even the newest stuff? Are you even on Verizon anymore after being off network for 3 months?
Even I think so long being not transmitted properly messages get failed in getting sent properly. I don't think so you will get them so easily. But yeah you may always consult with your carrier provider. Hope you find this useful.
- Why did my text messages disappear after I turned my iphone back on after it it had been powered down for the night? Okay, so I'm new to iphone this is my first one and it's the iphone6. Last night I powered it down for the night, and when I woke up a d turned it back on and unlocked the lock screen and went to my home screen it said I had two text messages and before I could click on it they disappeared. So where did they go and is there any way to find them?
- Viewing text messages not received Is their any way i can view text messages that i did not receive. I had a iphone and when i made the switch to android i was not able to receive text messages from iphone. I now fixed the problem. But is their a way to view the text messages i did not receive.
- Text messages not being delivered on Iphone 4? They were working just fine and tonight it's just not working. It always gets stuck towards the end and I get the 'not delivered message' I tried resetting my network settings, but it didn't help. How can I fix this?
- Jpg attachments are being received as empty? Jpg attachments are being received as empty. This did not begin happening until December 22, 2012. Since then all jpeg attachments say they are empty. This happens on my desktop, laptop, ipad and iphone. I have checked the setting to make sure I can receive remote images on all my devices. Any other suggestions? All the images are coming from the same person. If the problem is on their end, any guesses what that might be? They being sent from a Blackberry if that helps.
