Best speaker with a clock for bedroom?

I'm re-doing my bedroom and am in need of some new speakers. What I want is a receiver with a clock on the front, and two speakers that aren't built in to the receiver, but rather connected via wire, so that I can put them underneath my bed. I don't really care about alarm clocks, FM radio, etc. I really don't want an iPhone dock on the top. All I need is a 3.5 mm in audio port. The form factor I'm thinking about is like that of a slightly thicker DVD player with a clock. If anyone knows of something like this, the help would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you want to put speakers under your bed?

A clock? Receivers are designed for audio quality, not for telling time.
