What bedroom sound system should I buy?
I'm a teenager who doesn't have a TV in my room but wants surround sound for playing music. I don't mind having multiple speakers put around my room. I kind of want it to be under $300.It would be easier for it to connect with my IPhone. Either with bluetooth or a dock. Any speaker system or website would work.
Your budget is at the bottom level for getting anything good. The Onkyo HT-S3500 system, selling for $280 on Amazon.com, is about the bottom level system that I could recommend. Anything cheaper is, well, cheap junk that will break in a year or less, and will have lousy sound and worse connectivity.
Turn to the used market. Craigslist is your friend here. You can easily buy a good true component system for under $100 that is quite respectable.
