K key on my laptop is completely broken?
Because of my problem I'm putting this up via my iPhone. But on my laptop keyboard my K button is completely broken. When pressed it does absolutely nothing. I have been getting by with just copying and pasting "k" when I need it but that is getting very annoying. Is there anyway to fix this?!
I recommend a name change, first thing.
I don't think there's a home repair for a non-functioning key other than making sure (when the laptop is off) that no crumbs, debris, or dust is in among the keys. If you've already done that, I suggest you take it in for repair or consider adding an external keyboard.
1) You can try to repair it.
2) You can use any USB keyboard connected to the laptop.
Order a new keyboard from ebay or amazon and replace it yourself, just watch a cpl youtubes on replacing keyboard on your model number etc and that's it, it is really not that hard to do
just pay close attention
all the hard work is in the preparation, gathering up a paper clip and small screw driver and something small to pry with… Verify you watched the right vids, then go get-em…

I just inquired a box from them waiting to send my iphone to them, and i get 80 dollars for a piece of waste? I just don't understand why would they pay 80 dollars for a piece of metal.
