Left speaker on my iPhone 4S doesn't work?
I have a black iPhone 4S 16GB and the left speaker doesn't work. What's wrong with it? Is it even a speaker?
That isn't a speaker. It's a microphone. They look exactly alike and it's been like that since the first iPhone.
To the right of the sync port is a speaker, and to the left of the sync port is the microphone used during calls.
- Why is my iPhone's left speaker (for sound) not working? I had recently damaged my phone by dropping it on pavement (approximately 3 feet), and it slid about 20 feet. Just today, I noticed the the left speaker on the bottom of the phone is not working. I have a feeling that it's not working because of the impact of the phone falling (I had a snap-on case at the time).Is there any way for it to get fixed without replacing the whole phone? I got an iphone 4s i got it in january it is on contract. i avnt got insurance on it as i don't believe in paying for it as you pay enough for the phone it self. basically since i put it in the docking station it has no sound or sound bar… I've googled on the net and many people have had this problem… In which i have tried their techniques but hasn't worked what so ever… so my question iswill they give me a new one or send it away to be fixed?
