Why is my iPhone's left speaker (for sound) not working?
I had recently damaged my phone by dropping it on pavement (approximately 3 feet), and it slid about 20 feet. Just today, I noticed the the left speaker on the bottom of the phone is not working. I have a feeling that it's not working because of the impact of the phone falling (I had a snap-on case at the time). Is there any way for it to get fixed without replacing the whole phone? And are there any good websites for parts? -Thanks
Contact apple.
It's not a speaker. It is a microphone. It will never make a sound. Check a friends if you want to verify this.
That Isn't a speaker… It's a microphone. They look exactly alike. It's been like that since the first iPhone…
- Why is one speaker not working on my iPhone 7? One speaker is not playing any sound while the other is? Is there anything I can do to fix this or anywhere i can take my phone to get it fixed?
- My iPhone 5 is not playing sound at all, but the speaker seems to be working? I got a new iPhone 5 on Wednesday and the sounds not working. It won't play music or videos but when you call it you can hear the person and they person can hear you. I've trie turning it on and off again with no avail.
- Little bit water got into my iPhone 6s speaker and the sound isn't working? My phone was in my bra as water got thrown at me by little kids, and i took out my phone and the screen was wet so i wiped off the water and it was fine, however the volume does not work. When i insert headphones the volume does work but i need to volume to work. I put my phone in rice and am hoping for the best… HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM?
- IPhone sounds play from ear speaker, not bottom speaker? Every so often, when I double click the home button, scroll over to the volume level, there's a little symbol for air play. When selected, I can play sounds from either the I phones ear speaker or the bottom (louder) speaker. However, this seems to go in and out and most of the time the air play icon isn't there. How do I fix this?
