There's a yellow wax like substance on my iphone 6?
I had my phone on the charger for around 45 minutes and when I unplugged it I noticed a yellow wax like substance on the top right corner. I tried to smell it and it almost smelled hot? If that even makes sense? It was just that part of the phone that smelled too.
I would take it back to where you bought it from and see if they will do anything with it.
The battery may have been over charged.
Take it to apple for repair.
