Time Warner Cable Wi-Fi problem?

My wireless internet isn't working. Everything else is working, including my cable and wired internet. I went to the router and pressed the reset button in the back and nothing worked, everything turns on and the 'sync' green button just stays lit. I checked all my cables to see if they're loose and still nothing. MY iPhone 5s connects to the Wi-Fi, but nothing loads when I press Safari, so I know its working. What's the problem?

Having pressed the reset button on the router, you need to connect a computer to it by cable again and walk through the initial setup of the router. You will have to turn on Wi-Fi and be sure to set a WPA2 password unless you want your neighbors to use your Wi-Fi and have access to your computers via networking. Once you have reconfigured the router your computer should be able to connect by Wi-Fi. Your cell phone connects because it can use its internal data connection instead of the Wi-Fi.

Passwords should be at least 8 characters and include upper and lower case letters, at least one number and at least one symbol. There should not be any complete words in the password one can find in the dictionary. An easy way to do this is to do things like change an 'e' to a '3' or an 's' to a 5, an exclamation point could be an i or an l… And so on. Passwords like this can only be broken by brute force attacks and will take far more time and resources than anyone has to crack it.

Power cycle the network!

1. Turn off your router
2. Turn off your modem
3. Removed all cables including coxial. Make sure your modem does not have any light. If case there r light.ther would be a battery backup.remove even that
4. Wait for sometime
5. Plug the battery if any.screw the cable n turn of modem and then router! Al good to go
