Tiny Speck in iPhone 4S battery bar?
I thought it was a bit of dirt or a speck of something but I tried cleaning and scratching it off but it wouldn't go away it is only small but very annoying what is it? How can I get rid of it I have tried holding down the home and lock buttons, cleaning it, turning it off and on again and putting the charger in (when the charger goes in it goes away) help please
Jailbreaking means removing restrictions of your carrier (ISP) to restricted allow third party apps. Please see the first link below.
The second link below shows that a lot of people with "jailbroken" phones are experiencing two dots on their battery bars. This is likely because they changed the software of the manufacturer of the iphone, and that alters the display.
It is possible that the software got corrupted without jailbreaking the phone. In that case, you might want to reload that portion of software, but, since it is a minor issue, you might not want to do that for fear that it might cause some rather serious issues. For example, the maker of the phone wants to make sure that the software is not corrupt when they load updates, and it might mistake your fixes for errors. Permissions might not work right.
It is also possible that the pixels of the display are burned out.
Its a dead pixel and will spread across your display. Get it serviced immediately
