Tracking someone through iPhones

I'm driving to West Virginia from south jersey and ill be using navigation and my friend said he would be able to link our phones together and track my every move so I won't get lost and hell know where I'm at all times?! Is that possible how do I get to it…

I wanna know too!

First you'll both have to get the "find friends" app on the iPhone App Store.
Then log in using you apple ID (have friend do the same)
Friend each other using email, username, Facebook, contact info, etc.
Now turn on location services & your set!

OR

Turn on your location services.
Have your friend go to ICloud.com & log in using your Apple ID & password.
He'll be able to track you from there.
(Beware, with the second option he may be able to access email, pages documents, calendar info, contacts, etc.)

I'm sure you won't mind, I mean, apple probrobly watched you from their HQ type that question, so tracking you with such a device is child's play

  • Where are the tracking devices located in iPhones? I need to know if the tracking device is located in the SIM card or if it is inside the phone somewhere. The reason I need to know would bring up a completely different story but if anyone could inform me then it would be greatly appreciated!
  • Tracking through Find My iPhone? Someone stole my ipod, and I had the app Find My iPhone. How does it work? It is still trying to locate my ipod. Does I need to connect to Internet for me to track it? Also, if they restore it, will I still be able to track it?
  • How can I know if someone is tracking my iPhone? Or are there any ways I can find out I had a friend, that knows things I never mention to her. And she is becoming really creepy about my life. I though maybe she is tracking my iPhone but I don't know what can I do?
  • Tracking an iPhone through Wi-Fi? So… My phone kinda got stolen today (iPhone 5s) and I think whoever stole it turned it onto airplane mode so I can't track it… And I was wondering if I would be able to track them/erase my phone/lock my phone once it connected to Wi-Fi or if it has to be through "cellular service"
