Transfer from PAYG to contract gone wrong?
I'm a Vodafone customer and I recently bought an iPhone 5S on Pay Monthly. I'm transferring my number from my old Xperia which is on Vodafone PAYG. Since about an hour or two ago, my Xperia is now showing the message: SIM not provisoned MM #2. My iPhone on the other hand, shows a signal but when I dial my old number on the landline (assuming the number has been transferred to my iPhone), the landline says my number is not recongised. I find this very confusing because my iPhone shows a signal (no matter how many times I reboot it). However when I go to Settings > Phone, my iPhone shows the temporary number that came with my nano SIM. Has something gone wrong?
Added (1). I'm transferring from Vodafone PAYG to Vodafone Pay Monthly, not from another carrier. And the support page never said anything about turning either of the phones off. It said that when the old SIM loses service, insert the new SIM to the phone, and the old number should be on the phone. Unfortunately this is not the case… Soz I'm being a bit impatient xD
Can take up to 72 hours for the number to be ported to your new carrier. The carrier that you had the number ported to, should have told you to leave the old phone OFF during this period or at least on airplane mode, and given you a temp number with your new phone.
Not gone wrong, you just were not given or didn't pay attention to all the information.

- Why isn't my GiffGaff PAYG Internet working in my IPhone 3GS? Basically I got an Iphone 3GS and the i put my giffgaff sim in it. I topped it up £15 and got the 400 mins and Unlimited texts and Internet package as i always do. Now when i leave my house (disconnecting the Wi-Fi) my texts and Phone calls are working but my internet isn't connecting. Is there a way to fix this?
- Using the Internet on Iphone PAYG Vodafone? I'm on PAYG vodafone and wondered if use the internet on it in my own home(I have BT Broadband) it will not affect the credit as I'm already paying for the broadband, I have an ipod and when I use internet on that it doesn't cst me anything as obviously it doesn't have a sim in it. I hve my Wi-Fi turned on in my phone but I can't see a symbol ontop of the display
- Someone sold me an iPhone on eBay and it's gone wrong Baiscally i purchased an iPhone 4s of a seller on eBay for £380 he has good ebay feedback and made good communication with me. Transfered the money over by paypal he sent the goods opened the iPhone box. And everything is there. ACCEPT THE IPHONE! What do i do? I need that money back!
- My Iphone 4s Headjack Port has or something wrong with it what wrong? My IPhone head jack has something in it or something wrong, because it was working fine and then the next day i plug my beats it wouldn't fully go in I had to force it and hold it down then if I let go it go out so i use my apple headphone same thing I look inside try to take it out or see it nothing happen I don't know what in it but I put the light or shine don't see nothing i use the paper clip to see if I could take it nothing there Please Help
