Trying to restore iphone 3g?
OK so my 11 year old daughter put a password on her iphone 3g and now forgot it, we have tried several passwords and I tried to restore it. I backed it up so that nothing will get lost however it will not allow me to restore it to factory settings. At this point i don't care what she needs to lose in order to use the phone again. I keep getting an unknown error every time. The home button is broken on this phone and we set the phone so that the home button will be the down volume button to go back to the screen. Please someone help. This is an older phone and out of warranty with apple.
Keep trying passwords. If it is the number pad just start at 0001 and go up to 9999. Or start in the center and work your way down or something. If it isn't, then just take it to your local store or call apple and see what they can do to help you
Try the emergency call trick with ios 4
I'm not sure but when you slide there should be an emergency call option
Call 000 then press the home button to access the phone
I'm not sure if this will work but its worth it.
Why not just replace the LCD and digitizer component so it can be easy
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- Trying to restore my Iphone 5c through iTunes, but it keeps giving me blue screens on my phone? 'Blue screen of death' thing. I sent it to apple and they told me the problem was with me plugging it up into a computer to charge it, and i plugged it into the socket for 30 mins, like they said and it says plug into itunes to restore it. But after a while it just gives me a blue screen and I can't use the phone if i don't do the full restore thing
- Trying to restore jailbroken iPhone 4, getting Itunes error 3194 and error 11 I want to wipe my jailbroken iphone 4, on ios 5, so i can update to ios 7. I used tiny umbrella and managed to get past the 3194 error, but then I'm getting error 11. I have tried to erase and reset through the phone only, but it simply shows an endless loading ticker, and not the apple logo and loading bar. How can I reset my phone? Thank you for anyone who can help! I also have the latest itunes
- IPhone 3 - Error 105, whilst trying to restore/upgrade? One of my firends has this Iphone 3, and asked me to try and sort it out, if you turn it on, it just asks to be connected to Itunes, no other function is available. Tried to update it and I get the error message "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error has occurred (1015) Anyone know what this is, and is there anything I can do?
