Twitter app keeps giving me false number of notifications on Iphone 5s?

Its been happening for a few weeks now, I see other people have had this happen before but they said it was fixed a few days go, but I'm still experiencing it on my phone, when I exit out of the app, there's always a number with the red bag icon on the Twitter app, even though I checked it. What should I do and does this sound like a Twitter issue or a phone one?

it seems happening sometimes.
May be it is some technical issue, so you just wait for some time and then try again,
if issue will remain then going to help option and write this to Twitter,
they sure provide you help quickly.

It Seems Like Twitter Has Still Not Fixed the Problem Completely What i Would Recommend Doing is Check And See If There Are Any Updates Available For Twitter If There's Any Install Them

Let Them Know About The Problem So They Can Fix it It May Just Be Your Account So They May Not Know

  • Why does my Facebook app for iPhone show an incorrect number of notifications on the home screen? On my Facebook app for iPhone, on the home screen, the red number next to the app icon showing how many notifications I have shows an incorrect number. For example it showed 56 when I actually only had 1 notification. I rebooted my iPhone and removed and reinstalled the FB app and neither thing fixed it.
  • Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
  • Trying to restore my Iphone 5c through iTunes, but it keeps giving me blue screens on my phone? 'Blue screen of death' thing. I sent it to apple and they told me the problem was with me plugging it up into a computer to charge it, and i plugged it into the socket for 30 mins, like they said and it says plug into itunes to restore it. But after a while it just gives me a blue screen and I can't use the phone if i don't do the full restore thing
  • My twitter app keeps kicking me out? Okay I have an iPhone 4 and I haven't had this promblem before. My twitter account was working fine but one day it started kicking me out each time I enter that app. I deleted it and redownloaded it but it still does it. I changed my password and email but it still does wtf! What should I do?
