Ulltrasn0w won't work with cydia on Iphone 3gs Version 6.1 - 05.16.08?
I brought an Iphone 3gs over from England and am trying to unlock it to put in a Canadian sim. I got a Bell sim thats been activated, but when I put it in my phone it says 'no service'.
I have an Iphone 3gs with version 6.1 and firmware 05.16.08. I have installed cydia and my phone is now jailbroken (i made sure by installing a free random app through cydia) but when I try to install ultrasn0w (via www.repo666.ultrasn0w.com on the list) it won't come through on the list. I then searched ultrasn0w and it came up, I've installed it, but it still isn't reading my sim…
what can I do?!
Ultrasn0w is only compatible with a few basebands from older softwares. There's a way to update your baseband to the unlockable 6.15 baseband, but I would not recommend this because it messes up your GPS. Honestly, your best bet is to find a retailer on eBay that can factory unlock your phone. The prices range from $3-20, so it's really not that expensive and it saves the hassle of Ultrasn0w.

- Why won't cydia tweaks work on my iPhone 5s? So my iphone is jailbroken with cydia 1.1.9.It's not mobile substrate because an update was just released for it. The tweaks appear in settings but they don't change anything. Yes they are ios 7 compatible. What's going on? The one tweak that has worked for me is f.lux.

- Music Box won't work off Cydia? I downloaded MusicBox off of Cydia Monday after the new IOS 6.1 jailbreak by evasion dropped for iPhone 4S. I downloaded music box and downloaded songs for about 2 or 3 days. Then I went back to download more songs and when I go to search for an artist or song it pulls up a blank screen where all my music options should be. I have tried respringing my phone, I have removed it and redownloaded it, and I have tried just simply reinstalling it. It won't work on my 3G or Wi-Fi. Any help?
