Unable to copy photos from iPhone to laptop. It says device is unreachable after a short time

I have an iPhone SE and I've got Windows 10 on my laptop. Whenever I try to copy photos from my phone to laptop, after a about 5 seconds an error message comes up saying "device is unreachable." I can't figure out whether this is a problem with my data cable or my laptop OR my laptop's USB port. And also I haven't updated my phone to the new version of ios, could that by any chance be a reason for this problem?

Hi so having worked with both apple and microsoft in most cases it is the microsoft that looses the plot. As item drivers ares so unstable.

  • Unable to access web server from separate device? I recently setup Apache on an old iMac (2006 running 10.4) I had sitting around collecting dust. Localhost worked great, I uploaded my own html files and they displayed. HOWEVER, when I try and access the web page from my Ubuntu laptop I get a connection error (typing in my ip address). I tried from my laptop that is connected to the same network, and I tried from my iPhone pulling from the LTE network.
  • Iphone won't turn on after being dropped from a short height? I dropped my iphone today on a hard floor. It was working perfectly before I dropped it, however now, when I try to charge it and hold down the home and the sleep button, it still won't work. Any suggestions on what to do?
  • Iphone or ipad says unable to join the network? I updated my ios to version 6.1.2 and then when i wanted to join Wi-Fi it says "unable to join the network." i tried everything… Any useful way? I will appreciate.
  • Iphone email stops working after a short time? I have tried to set up a co-workers email on his Iphone multiple times. I do it manual step up. It will work just fine for a while then will not work. All password, servers, ports user names are correct. He can receive and send emails. I have set up other iphones using the same technique and they continue to work just fine. Ideas?
