Unlock a iPhone 6s off sprint?
So I got this iPhone off Craigslist, the guy said it was unlocked but it wasn't, I called sprint and they said I need the account holders name and number. I kept asking for the guy to do it or give me the info. But no response.
So is there any way to do it with out the account holder.
The phone still has the sprint sim in it but says no service.
So I'm guessing the phone is off his account.
No dude. Most likely it is a lost or stolen phone, you were foolish to take such a risk of getting a iPhone from a stranger. No response from the seller is a sure sign the phone was not his.
Hopefully you now realize that there's a huge risk when buying through Craigslist.
Since the guy won't answer, that most likely means that it was a scam, and the guy used a fake number. Unfortunately, until you can get the holder's name and number, you can't do anything.
