Unlocking iPhone 4 (canada)?

So my phone was stolen a little while ago. So i bought my friends iPhone 4. The iPhone is not activated and currently locked to company "X". My contract is with company "y". My question is do i have to activate the iPhone with company x and then unlock it, then lock it to company y?

We can help you, add us on Skype: reallivetv

You do not need to activate the phone with company "X". You will need to get the phone unlocked (there are different services that can do this for you) and then you will be able to activate it with whatever carrier you choose.

  • Where to buy OtterBox for iPhone 5 in Canada? So I'm wanting to purchase the otterbox commuter in mineral blue for my iphone 5. Since the colour is an "online exclusive", I can't buy it in any local store. If I purchase it directly from the otterbox site, I have to pay $50 shipping on top of the $35 for the case and the taxes. All the other sites like future shop and best buy only have limited colours, mostly just black. Is there any Canadian site that sells this otterbox?

  • Using my iphone on Wi-Fi in Canada (I'm from the US)? So I have an iPhone, and I want to be able to use it in Canada. I would only be using it in a Wi-Fi area, so that I can access instagram and facebook and things, not calling or texting or anything. What kinda of things can I turn off so I don't have messages and calls coming through, as well as data accidentally coming through? Also, will I get roaming charges for using data in Canada (like internet, not calling) (I have AT&T)?
