Unplugged iPhone during update, now it won't start?
Okay so my phone is normal, i've never jailbroken it or anything. A few hours ago, I connected it to iTunes, which told me to update to the new software, which I did. Toward the end of the update, I noticed that my iPhone had been stuck on the "connect to iTunes" screen for a really long time, even though it was already connected, and the iTunes update bar wasn't moving AT ALL. It stayed that way for a Really long time, and I didn't know what to do, so I just unplugged my phone and plugged it back in. Even after disconnecting my phone from my computer, both my phone and iTunes stayed frozen. So i decided to force iTunes to restart. This time, though, iTunes won't recognize my phone, and my phone is stuck on the "connect to itunes" screen that looks like this and it won't even turn on and even if i try to turn my phone on and off it just goes back to this screen
and i literally do not know what to do
help please? Is there even hope, or have i messed it up completely omfg
The only thing I can think of to recommend is to put the phone it recovery mode and try to restore it.
From an off state you need to plug your phone into itunes while holding the home button until itunes recognizes the phone being in recovery mode. If it works you should not have the option to restore it in order to start using it again.
- Why does my iPhone shut off when it is unplugged? Well for a while now my iPhone has been shutting off when I unplug it. Sometimes the battery would just stay at a same percent for a while and I will take it off the charger and plug it back in, then my phone would shut off and come back on. That would keep the battery going up. Also lately, my phone has been receiving text messages really late and unless I turn my phone off I would get the messages late. Anyone has any suggestions?
- What language should I start with to start developing iOS apps? If I want to develop iPhone apps, should I learn Python first or just go straight to objective C or learn something else? I have 0 programming skills and have only done some web development. I have a Mac and Xcode.
- Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.
- Iphone battery died during latest update now phone won't turn on? I have iphone 3gs. I got a system message to say an update was available so i said yes to the update however my battery must have died during the update which wasn't completed and now my phone won't turn on. I have plugged it in to charge and the apple icon appears then disappears, then appears and disappears again. I have tried holding both the buttons to power on/off/restore but doesn't seem to work either. Anything ele i can try before going to the apple store?
