Untethered jailbreak my iphone
I have a 4g 16 gb ATT unlocked iphone. I really need it jailbroken and can't figure it out. Does anyone know an untethered jailbreak. My software is 6.1.3.
The untethered iPhone jailbreak only works with iOS 6.1.2 for the moment till now your only options are
1) wait for an untethered jailbreak with evasi0n (Found hear: http://evasi0n.com/ )
2)get a tethered jailbreak with Redsnow
or
3) Downgrade your iPhone to iOS 6.1.2 (Tutorial hear: )
I recommend option 3 since its the safest and most efficient way and will work with any device to the moment once youve done that you may use Evasi0n to untether jailbreak there's not much change from iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.2 so id defiantly go with option 3
- Untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S IOS 5.1? I've heard such a thing doesn't exist. If that's the case, what should I do about jail breaking an iPhone 4S with ios 5.1? Should I somehow upgrade to 5.1.1 and do the untethered there? Or should I get the newest version apple has (probably not) and find or wait for a possible update for jail breaking there? And if I do somehow get an iOS 5.1.1 and manually update the phone to that, it won't mess anything up or erase my data, right?
- Tethered to Untethered iPhone jailbreak? I understand that there's a tool in Cydia if you are currently using tethered jailbreak you can change to untethered jailbreak by downloading that tool. May I know what is the name of the tool and whether it still work for iPhone 4 iOS 6?
