Tethered to Untethered iPhone jailbreak?

I understand that there's a tool in Cydia if you are currently using tethered jailbreak you can change to untethered jailbreak by downloading that tool. May I know what is the name of the tool and whether it still work for iPhone 4 iOS 6?

I don't know what tool you're talking about in Cydia, but if you want an untethered jailbreak for your iPhone 4 (not 4s) then go to google and type in "absinthe jailbreak." Once at the website click the downloads link and go from there. It's by far the easiest and fastest jailbreak method I know of. You don't even have to put your phone in DFU mode to do it. The reason I said not 4s is because they didn't come out with an untethered for the 4s or 5 yet with iOS 6.
