Upgraded to iOS 7, tried to revert back and now I can't setup my iPhone 5?
So I upgraded my phone to the iOS 7 beta, not as a developer but off a website… Stupid I know. So I decided I wanted to revert back because their were too many things wrong in the beta that annoyed me. I reset the phone completely thinking that it would go back to the old iOS 6.1.4 but it's still on iOS 7 and when I try to setup the phone it won't let me because it says I'm not a registered developer. Is there any way I can completely wipe my phone or go back to the old operating system from the set up screen?
Have you tried Beta 2? It's much better and fixes bugs.
But to answer your question, download 6.1.4, and put your phone in DFU mode.then, on itunes, shift click (or alt/option for macs) the check for updates, and find where you downloaded 6.1.4.it should update then.

- I tried to update my iphone to ios 8.2 and now it doesn't work? It says connect to itunes and when I do nothing will happen. Will I have to go to the apple store and reset it? I have important notes and pictures in there and I hadn't transferred them to my computer yet. I don't have enough storage on my iCloud do they didn't get passed on.
