USB port on the new 2013 Camaro with MyLink?

Just wondering exactly how it works. This may sounds weird, but I'm very concerned about it. I'm going to be buying the new Camaro, and I was just hoping that the USB is not complicated to use. Are you still allowed to pick songs directly on the ipod/iphone? Or do you have to resort to using the MyLink system once it is plugged in? Because a friend of mine has the USB in his 2004 Honda Pilot, but once it is plugged in, the ipod can't be used, and the only way to change songs is to use the steering controls. This is obviously problematic because you can only play songs in order, or can't listen to certain playlists. I'm just wondering if anyone has the new Camaro with MyLink and if you like using it and if its easy to use.

I reached out to our support team for the Chevrolet MyLink system and he said that you should be able to interact with the iPod or iPhone directly or through the MyLink system when you are choosing songs or playlists. The infotainment team is a great resource in regards to your MyLink radio and can be reached at 855-478-7767 and their hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8AM to 10PM EST, and Saturday 8AM to 4PM EST. Congratulations on your future purchase and if you ever have any questions or concerns feel free to email me so I can assist you.

  • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
