Used iPhone 4 permanently disabled and won't restore on my computer
I bought a used iPhone and it's password was guessed too many times which resulted in getting it permanently disabled. For some reason, it won't wipe on my iTunes and I can't get into it to wipe it that way. What do I do!
You'll have to see on Apple's site Q&A page to see if you can find an answer http://www.apple.com/...rt/iphone/, if not then call Apple's customer service (800) MY-IPHONE (800-694-7466) chances you'll have to either send it or take it to your nearest apple store.
- Is it possible for an iPhone to delete everything if permanently disabled? My iPhone was permanently disabled bc I couldn't remember my password. Now there's no password protection and now everything is deleted. Is that possible? I have never heard of that before.
- IPhone disabled and has to reboot can I restore pictures and videos? I typed the wrong password to unlock my iPhone one too many times and it was disabled until I had to connect it to iTunes and reboot the iPhone… I rebooted the iPhone and lost all my data… Is there any way I can find the pictures and videos I had on my phone before I had to reboot it?
- Iphone 5c is disabled and won't restore? I forgot my password on my iphone5c. I tried many attempts than i disabled it, now when put it in recovery mode, and i hit restore, it updates my iphone and restores but during the process it stops and says i have to enter a passcode(so i can't continue) But i don't know my passcode! - If you disabled FindMyiPhone to restore your device, will the app be enabled again after the restore? A few weeks ago I upgraded to the iPhone SE and I restored the data from my iPhone 4s onto it. (I had to disable FindMyiPhone in the process). Little did I know that it would be lost/stolen 2 weeks later. Really need to know if FindMyiPhone would be enabled because I want to know if I still have any hope at all finding it. Thanks. I tried the app already… Says it's offline. Been waiting since.
