Using a microsim adapter for iphone 3GS?
My microsim will not go into the iphone 3gs. I have looked online for a microsim adpater and there have been mixed reviews. Please can anyone shed light on this?
Sim adpaters are a wonderful thing. As you probably already know, you can make a microsim into a normal sim meaning you can use your phone micro sim with adapter in any phone you would like. There a good investment I've found, once my phone had to go of for repair and the only phone I had was an old one which only took normal sized sims. Just pop your microsim into the adapater and it's as simply as that. Plus you can buy one online for not even a pound.
Here is a video on buying a microsim adapter, and how to insert and remove them without damaging your phone. Otherwise, the safest thing to do is get a new SIM card from your carrier (they can transfer your phone # and account to the new SIM).
- Will using a knockoff iphone charging wall adapter ruin my iphone? I know that knockoff iphone chargers are bad for your iphone, but will a knock off wall adapter have any effect or harm the iphone?
- Will T-Mobile give me a microsim card? I currently have a cheap phone that has no data plan on it and uses standard sim card. I ordered a smartphone which uses a microsim card like the one in the iphone 4/4s. Will Tmobile give me a new microsim card without me having to add a data plan to my contract. It doesn't matter to me if i have to pay a little bit for the sim i just do not want to buy a data plan. My current data free plan is perfect
- Will I get a new MicroSim with my iPhone upgrade? Hi, I've recently upgraded my iPhone 4 to an iPhone 4S, so don't technically need a new sim card. However, I managed to lose the MicroSim (don't ask! ) that belonged in the iPhone 4, so was just wondering if Orange will send a new microSim out with the new phone anyway even if I hadn't requested a new one. Would like to find out to save me a call and an hour on hold if I have to phone Orange Customer services! Any help appreciated!
- What would happen if I put a T-Mobile microSIM into a locked AT&T iPhone 4s? I have an iPhone 4s locked on contract with AT&T. But I want to find out how T-Mobile's reception might be on HSPA+.So… If I buy a T-Mobile microSIM and put it into the iPhone, what would happen? Would it show me the bars and 4G for T-Mobile?
