Using iPhone 6s+ for boost from sprint?

I have an iPhone 6s+ with Sprint that I've paid off and don't use anymore. My sister uses Boost mobile and so I'm wanting to give her my phone. I just found out that phone isn't currently eligible to work with Boost from Sprint. How would I go about unlocking my phone so that she's able to use it?

Depending on whether or not sprint is willing to unlock it is the question. I've heard many stories of sprint not unlocking phones because its against regulations, In some cases they do unlock the device and all is well. But its a case by case by case basis.

I'm pretty good with iPhones as far as jail breaking goes along with SSH, and even hacking the PRL. But is there a way to flash and how? 10 points for useful knowledge.
