Using iTunes On A New Computer?
I recently bought a new computer and I want to use it to sync my iPhone with iTunes. I copied all of my music from my old computer and put it in iTunes on my new computer. I also signed in to my iTunes account on my new computer. Here's the problem:
When I try to sync it basically says "all of your data will be erased." Now I don't mind if my music gets erased because I have copied these items, but will all of my apps be erased? I know I could just re-download them but none of my settings/preferences/data will no longer be on them. Is there an easy way I can sync with my new iTunes without deleting all of my apps/photos?
It should be simply overwriting a copy of the same song in order to preserve space.
- How to transfer music directly from computer-iphone, using itunes? I have 1000+ songs i downloaded a folder today and i already have my old music in my library, i don't feel like sifting through thousands of songs to find the ones i don't have, so how do i get it to go directly through without having to do that?
- How to sync music to your iPhone using the new updated iTunes? I have no idea how to sync music onto my phones from this new updated iTunes. The older one was much more simpler for me, but this is confusing and I just don'r know how. If someone knows and has the new updated iTunes too, can you please explain step by step how you sync music from iTunes to iPhone?
- How to swap contacts to my new iphone without using itunes? I just want to get the contacts from my dodgy iphone4 onto a new iphone4 but when i back up the old one and then plug in the new one and click on the manual restore back up it doesn't show that i have the option to use the back up i've just done. Is there any other way of swapping my contacts over?
