Using my iPhone as a personal hotspot?
Is it safe to use my iPhone as my personal hotspot?
When I eventually sell my iPhone, will it be possible for that person to somehow view / revisit all the sites I visited while using my iPhone as my personal hotspot? (Example: online banking, online shopping, paying my bills online.)
If you have cleared cookies, data, history then I don't think they will be able to view it again.
Do a factory reset before selling. That way nobody will be able to revisit the sites you used. Yes, its safe to use it as a personal hotspot. Hotspot means you're using your phone as a Wi-Fi modem. Even if you use it on your computer, nobody can revisit the sites you used on your computer. Even if you don't format it. But I'd suggest you to format it for safety reasons.

- What additional cost may occur from making my iphone a personal hotspot? I turned on the personal hotspot option in settings on my iphone but it says additional costs may occur. Does that mean it costs money for me to connect my other devices or just if i exceed the amount of 3g i'm paying for.

If I turn on the "Personal Hotspot" on my iPhone 5c (with 3G service on), and connect it to my computer via USB, will it make my laptop internet faster as well? The 3G service is So much more faster on my iPhone 5c than on my DELL Laptop! So will this help my laptop if I select my iPhone on the internet connection?
