Using unlocked iphone 4 in turkey?
Hi, I'm going turkey in 2 weeks time and I would like to use my internet over there, I don't want any calls or texts just internet.
What will I have to do to use my phone in turkey some people say that I need to register it.
Lets say I have registered my phone can I just buy a Turkish sim and buy a internet booster and that's it? And how much will it cost if I was to register it?
I guess the people you asked for told you to register for roaming.
If you buy a prepaid SIM in turkey and put it in your phone it should work without issues.
- Why does electronic devices in Turkey cost much more than other countries? For example an iphone 6s would cost 700 dolars (roughly 1.700 turkish lira) but when you look at the turkish apple store it says 2.600 turkish lira. Plus if you buy from another country you have to pay an arm and a leg to get it from customs. Why?
