Using Virgin Blackberry sim card in iPhone?
Not a question, but I'd like to share how I use a Blackberry Virgin contract sim card in an iPhone 4.
Virgin will not entertain you if your on a BlackBerry pay monthly contract and want to use an iPhone.
Using a GiffGaff sim card, which they will send you for free, it comes with a standard sim card but has the option to pop out a micro sim, leaving behind a micro sim template.
Use template to draw the shape on your existing standard sim card.
Cut out carefully - beware don't cut the 'gold' part.
If you prefer, micro sim cutters are available from popular auction sites, or your supplier other than Virgin may supply one for a small charge?
Pop new micro sim into your iPhone4.
Phone will works for messages and calls but not internet.
Whilst in a Wi-Fi zone, go to www.unlockit.co.nz on your iPhone and follow instructions (very simple) to install the APN settings for your provider to your iPhone.
Job done.
Lots of people are having difficulty in utilising non-standard sims in iPhones hope this helps.

I have a micro sim cutter that I used when I went from iPhone 3G to iPhone 4. If we cut down his sim it will fit in the iPhone, but will he still be able to use Internet and call people?
