I would not pay the amount of money that Apple expects people to pay for a phone. I have a cheap smartphone and I have 4GB of space in my phone and my SD card has 32GB of space. For both the phone and the SD card I paid $30.
It depends on how much space you need. If you download a lot of big games, music, or store a lot of pics then you will need more.
I've had an iPhone 5 & 4s, both 16gigs. I can't download everything I want, but I make due. I delete games when I'm finished to free up space. I upload photos to fb and then delete to free up space. I've downloaded very few songs. I'm okay with it. I mostly use my phone to take pics, play games, and the Internet.
I have an iPhone 4s right now and will use it as a music player when I upgrade my iPhone, prolly to a 5s.
- Will a 16GB iPhone 5 have 16GB of space? I want to get an iPhone 5 and the 16GB will suffice, however I'm concerned about the actual space. I have a 32GB iPod Touch but according to iTunes the maximum space available is 28.5GB. Could I expect this sort of thing to happen on the iPhone?
