What app should I use to make international cell phone to landline calls?

I would like to call family in Ukraine on a regular basis from an iPhone to a landline and I want to find the cheapest option for doing so. What would be a good, cheap app or service for me to use?

  • Why are international calls barred on my iPhone 4s on EE's Tmobile network (UK)? The problem is whenever I try to call abroad, I get a message saying international calls are barred. I use to make them before I got my iPhone so I'm not sure if it's a phone problem. I've called up T-mobile many times but they tell me international calls should be working and there's no issue. Has anyone else come across this issue or know how to resolve it.

  • Unlocked Iphones/ International cell services? I'm going to Germany in September for ten months. I would like to take an Iphone that I will get set up with a carrier over in Germany because I feel Iphones will be more expensive to buy over there. I was wondering if anyone knew which carrier I should buy for getting it unlocked or even if an unlocked Iphone will work while I'm there. I don't want to get an Iphone there and have it not work while I'm there. It would be a big waste of money that I don't really have.
