Verizon worker lied to me about purchases I made

I recently purchased a new iPhone case and the lady lied and said they no longer make the otterbox case I normally use. So she told me to purchase the symmetry one instead. So I did, well after getting home I realized that she did not give me the box for the phone case. Now, I want to return the case and get a new one. Will Verizon give me a complete refund? Or will I not because of something an employee did there?

Actually YOU left the box in the store. If you were given a bag, you could have put the box in the bag yourself. But sure you can return the item as long as you still have the sale receipt. As for will you get a complete refund, you will know once you arrive at the store.

And a sales person telling you that the case you wanted is no longer being made, is considered puffery if they are trying to get you to buy something in the store, instead of the thing you want, and it worked on YOU didn't it? That is why you do your RESEARCH before you buy things that you want. If local shops don't have it, try Amazon or the place that makes the item.
