Vibration patterns on iPhone 5?
I remember turning off the vibration patterns because when it wasn't on silent it was really annoying. What I didn't realise is that when I do have it on silent it doesn't vibrate at all… But when I go back to turn it back on, the option to customise the vibration pattern isn't there, please help
If I thought I had that problem the most likely explanation would be that I had forgotten where to customize the vibration pattern.
Assuming that might be your problem, here is how I get to the right page:
Start with "Settings"
Select "Sounds"
This is the screen where you turn "Vibrate on Ring" and "Vibrate on Silent" on and off.
Then scroll down to "Sounds and Vibration Patterns" and select the type you want to customize, such as "Ringtone" or "Text Tone".
Select "Vibration" at the top of the resulting screen and you should get the standard vibration patterns on the top of the page and "Create New Vibration" to create a custom vibration pattern below.
