Video format-why is it in KB not MB?
I took a video on my phone (iPhone), uploaded it to iPhoto, shortened it to a clip, and dragged and saved the file to my desktop. It plays using quicktime.
First of all, I find that weird because all my other iPhone videos don't open with quicktime, they just play. Second, the file says its 219 KB. The video is 8 minutes long. All my other videos from my phone are in MB. What went wrong here? Why is the file suddenly in KB not MB?
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Added (1). Basically the problem is that I'm trying to upload it to box.com but something goes wrong with a KB file. With an MB file it's fine, so I need to find out what went wrong so I can fix it and upload this video to box.com
Kilobytes are smaller than megabytes. These 2 are size measurements, not file types; usually shortened to KB and MB. It just means the video takes up less space on the drive. Why the other thing are happening, I have no idea.
- Why does my video have such bad video quality? I uploaded my video to the computer and it had great video quality, then I uploaded it to Facebook and YouTube and It looked horrible. It there anything I can do to change that? Save it a different way or something? I see all these YouTube videos that have been filmed by iPhone's and they have great quality. Shouldn't my 14mp camera have even better!
- Which video format does iphone 5s supports? Also please tell if i can convert videos without losing quality! I'm asking for video conversion into the iphone format!
- What software is the quickest to convert video files to iphone format? I've been using any video converter and free video to iphone converter. Both very slow, it takes up to an hour to convert a 20 mins.wmv or.avi. Are there any faster alternatives? And does that depend on whether I choose to convert to iphone 4 or iphone 5 format? I've tried the latter so can it be that it would be quicker for iphone 4?
- What movie format does iPhone 4S sopport? I got an iPhone 4S for my birthday, for me, it is really a good tool to watch DVD movies on it. But what i wanna know what it supports(movie, music)?
