Want to buy an iphone or ipod touch in new york?
I'm going to new York in two weeks, and I was wondering if I would be able to buy an iphone there, cus everyone says there much cheaper in the us, but obviosuloy i'm going to be using it in the uk so I would have to buy it unlocked and get a new sim ect… So would that just rise the price even more, making it pointless to buy it in new York. Also I was wondering how much an ipod touch would cost over there, is there any point me buying either of them over there?
In the US The prices are based on contract, you won't be able to buy it on contract because you arent from here.
Assuming it is the 5s you want to get then they are not available unlocked from the US as of now nor will they be until likely late November.
If you are buying it unlocked (just stating this for the record) you of course just insert your own SIM back in the UK afterwards. You don't have to buy a new SIM for it from the US.
Again, assuming it is the 5G iPod touch you are talking about it starts at $229 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB & $399 for 64GB.
- Would it be stupid to buy the new iPod Touch now that I have the iPhone 5? I want to keep my music separate from my phone because the phone is just too heavy, especially when I run with it. What do you guys think?
- Will Apple be releasing a new iPod Touch in the fall? Along with the new iPhone (s)? I want to get a new one as a gift for a special somebody, but I'd rather get the latest one than one that will be outdated in a month or so. So the question is is it likely that Apple will be updating the iPods? Should I wait for that? Or is there no chance if that so I should get the current colored models?
- Where can I buy an iPhone 5s (no contract) in New York? I'm going for a visit in a couple of weeks, its cheaper than it is here. Is it still out of stock? Where would I be able to buy it on a no-contract basis? Also, will I loose the warranty that comes with it if I use it in Canada?
- What apps can make living in New York easier? My sister is moving to New York in a few weeks. She has never been and is somewhat intimidated by the whole change. What can make the transition easier? Ipad or iphone apps are the things I'm actually looking for. Maps, restaurants, discounts, anything goes. Anything you think that will make life easier there?
