Was i out of line? I honestly don't care?

So these 3 friends (well 2 are pretty good friends not my best friends but we're cool and the 3rd guy i don't like him at all) always group chat with me. I have an iPhone and they do too so they always add me on it. They've been doing this for months, but the thing is i hate it to the extreme. I don't care about what they're up to all the time, i really don't. I don't like knowing what people are up to all the time, and vice versa. I find it really annoying. I literally barely ever respond back, and once i told them that it was annoying me and to stop. After 3 months, one day they were planning on seeing a movie and i had had enough. I wrote, "Guess what I don't give a f*** lol" and for some reason i felt amazing after i said it. Because i feel like my lack of responding back and telling them i was annoyed before should've been a heads up.

If you don't care then why ask the question? Perhaps you are proud of yourself for some strange reason.
How am I supposed to answer this?
You know that what you did was a little out of line. They are supposed to be your friends and I'm surprised that with an attitude like that, they are still talking to you.
You like your own space and independence. Okay I get that. I'm the same. I can't stand people all over and around me, knowing everything that I do, but at the same time I'm still polite and talk to them becasue they are still my friends.
Perhaps if you haven't already screwed things up, you should apologise and let them know that should you not respond, it is because you are relaxing or busy. They won;t keep 'bothering' you if you open to them without coming across as rude.
