Water damage on smartphone causes super dim screen?
I dropped my Samsung Exhibit directly into a cup of water, and immediately removed the battery and put it in a bag of rice overnight, it still works but the screen is super dim, and adjusting the brightness does nothing. I can only see what i'm doing in a very dark room
The backlight either failed or it needs more time to dry out… When I repaired a water damaged iPhone 5 it had lots of water damage on the lcd after using it and letting it dry out there are only a few marks on it… But this seems like the backlight has failed
- What causes The White Screen of Death on iPhones? I just had an issue with my iPhone where the screen turned white then, i looked it up and fixed it. I was just wondering what caused it that way i can prevent it next time.
- We know that if a smartphone has more than 300 pixels per inch, it is a retina display. How much ppi it need to be a super retina display? It is said that human retina can distinguish pixels and letters in screen seem broken if ppi is below 300. If ppi is above 300, how high the ppi may be, it looks same for human eye, then why iPhone has 458 pixels in iPhone x?
- Why iphones screen goes dim itself when i end the call sometimes? I've noticed that sometimes when i end the call its screen brightness goes too dim, if i go to setting in brightness it shows set at half 50 percent, but screen remains dim like zero brightness, if i drag brightness bit to increase it goes normal, its on 6.1.3 ios please tell why it happens sometimes?

It only happens when i make a call. i've noticed auto brightness is off, screen brightness is set at 50 percent, let i disconnect call it goes to zero brightness if i scroll setting & brightness its still at 50 percent but screen is still dim, if i drag brightness icon it goes normal, please tell why its happening?
