Water damaged iPhone SIM card?
So my iPhone 5 got water damaged and I got a new, same phone. I still have the SIM card from the water damaged phone. Is it okay to put that SIM card into my new phone? Will it harm my new phone?
SIM cards can get water damaged. But from what I could find online, when that happens the SIM just stops working; it doesn't hurt the phone.
If I were you I wouldn't take the risk; get your phone company to replace your SIM.
