Websites/iPhone apps for people starting out with jogging?
I want to start getting into jogging/running so obviously I couldn't just go out and do a 10 mile run but I'm looking for a website or iPhone app (not ones that just track your run) that gives step by step builds up for increasing your running distance and stamina? Sort of like a basic training program.
Any ideas?
Yes, I'm going to make some of the same recommendations to you that I made to my sister a while back.
First, I'm going to recommend an app called Interval Run.
https://itunes.apple.com/...05174?mt=8
I think it costs $2. And its well worth it. Its an interval timer that is easy to program and use but even better it includes some pre-programmed programs. One of the programs pre-programmed is a program called "Couch to 5 K" (c25k).
The C25K program slowly increases your effort over 9 weeks. It requires 30 minutes three times a week. At the end of nine weeks you should be able to run for 30 minutes and/or 3 miles.
Once you finish the c25k program the Interval Run app has some other programs that mesh with it. Like Gateway to 8K, and the One Hour Runner.
BTW, you can run other programs in the background. So you can start your music, start another app, like one for tracking mileage, then start Interval Run. Just start Interval Run last.
- Where do you store your ipod/iphone when jogging, rowing, or lifting weights? Where do i buy an armband? Sportchek doesn't have any good ones and neither does walmart. Where else could i buy one from? (i'm in GTA, Ontario.Canada)
- What websites or apps (on Iphone) do I use do make cool fan edits? On Instagram I have an ariana grande fan account and its not that good bc I don't know how to make good edits, or where. Help me? Here's a couple examples: http://instagram.com/...kittyloves http://instagram.com/...utupbutera It's people's accounts but it has cool edits so click and maybe help me.
- What is the low, average and high jogging speed? I recently began a jogging routine. I jogg for 45 mins and usually have an average speed of 10 km/h (or so my iphone app says anyway). So is that a slow or medium speed or what? I know i should have my own rhythm, but i'm curious how fast is that compared to other joggers on average?
- Websites/apps or anything for unlocking my at&t iphone 4? I need to unlock my iphone 4 so i can use other service providers. I don't really care if it is paid or free as long as it is legit and gets the job done.
