- What exactly is the ethos to this cartoon? In my essay I just stated the Ethos is using the iPhone as a common item that everyone is familiar with. Also, I said that Dan Piraro (the artist) is a very accomplished cartoonist that is published in over 200 newspapers and has several books made of his cartoons. Are both of these points part of ethos? Does the background of Piraro even count as ethos? What else could be considered ethos?!
