What are the best speakers to purchase for $250?
I'm looking to spend about $250 on a pair of speakers. These speakers would be used for strictly music. I would like to be able to hook an AUX cable up or bluetooth to my iPhone. I listen to mostly rap and songs with bass. I want these speakers to be as loud as possible. I'm willing to trade some sound quality for the loudness of the speaker. I wouldn't be opposed to purchasing two less expensive speakers if the loudness and quality was better as long as I can hook them up together and play through AUX cord or bluetooth.
Really your best bet is to buy a full size pair of speakers and a receiver on the used market. Older, large speakers usually pound out the bass like mad, and a regular low cost receiver is all you need for them. I bet you find a complete system for $100 or less on Craigslist.
As for the Bluetooth option, you can buy a bluetooth receiver and connect it to an input on the stereo receiver.
